The greatest concern of the majority of homeowners is dust. Dust does not have to be a part of your hardwood refinish project. Using the right vacuums, equipment and people we can ensure an almost dustless job. The A-MAX vacuums are powered by a 27hp water cooled motor that was designed for tractors. The system is mounted inside the trailer outside your home. This means that all of the dust is sucked out of your hose through a hose opposed to being carried out in bags. Our dustless wood floor sanding process is cutting edge and a must for any hardwood floor refinishing process in Boise.

The technology used in hardwood has advanced in the last 20 years. Water-based floor finishes are some of the most durable finishes on the market without the major downsides of other types of finishes. High quality water-based & U.V. finishes have much less V.O.C’s without the smell of other types of finishes. Specific V.O.C.’s can be very harmful to your health. Finishes that take a long time to cure are off-gassing V.O.C.’s for up to 30-60 days! Water-Based and U.V. finishes off-gas for 2 to 36 hours and are much less harmful to your health. A maintenance coat is only required every 5 to 8 years to maintain water based finished floors after a hardwood floor refinish.

Hardwood floors are resilient. They are able to take abuse throughout the years and when the time comes they can be re-sanded and made to look new.  With hardwood refinishing, the transformation in just a few hours of work is truly marvelous.

Dust is every home owner’s major concern, A-MAX gets it. In fact, A-MAX and all of its employees hate dust too. Nothing is worse than having to spend hours upon hours cleaning valuables. We would rather spend that time showing you the wonderful floor we crafted for your family to live on. This is the reason A-MAX has the best vacuum system in the world.

Our 27 H.P. motor sucks dust out better than anything in the world. Unlike traditional sanding equipment and vacuums, our dust travels through your front door in hoses rather than bags. When we empty our system, it is yards away from your front door. No other vacuum system beats the sucking power of the A-MAX trailers, nothing. We are truly 99% dust free. Unless a 27 H.P. motor is involved, you will have tons of dust.

Let’s face it, hardwood floor refinishing (finishing if you had an install) floors can be a dusty job. However, our equipment captures about 99% of the dust, leaving significantly less dust in your home. A-Max Hardwood uses certified dustless vacuums by Bona for refinishing your hardwood. Bona Trailer Vacuums are the industry standard and all our equipment is certified dustless. Her is why we use dustless trailer vacuums:

  • Dust is instantly sucked out of your house
  • Dust is not floating around your house
  • The air is safer to breath before and after we leave
  • Better overall finish and job for hardwood refinishing
